What's your favorite way to get H²O ?
Metal Water Bottle.
Plastic reusable water bottle.
One time use plastic water bottle.
Fancy coffee chain cup with straw.
The local creek like the other feral creatures in my area.
The skulls of my enemies.
I don't do H²O.
A random glass I have in my house.
Coffee mug.
If you answered, please reblog. Thank you! ✌🏻

Best Plants That Generate Electricity From Soil...
Intro:
As plants use sunlight to change CO² & water into sugar, they release excess carbon compounds thru their roots.
Bacteria break these down as they feed, releasing electrons that can be collected to make electricity - without hurting the plants.
Background:
This is 100 year old knowledge that was rarely known outside of labs & scientific circles.
Plus, the low power output kept most electrical utilities away...
Luckily, nowadays, Microbial Fuel Cells are taking advantage of this fact to power environmental sensors & IoT devices - without the need of batteries or complicated connections to the Grid...
Focus:
Certain plants, connected to large microbial communities, are especially good at producing a continuous flow of free electrons.
List:
Aloe Vera
Bulrush
Canna Lily
Cordgrass
Reed
Rice
Sweet Grass
Tomato.
Note: Folks in remote areas or using agricultural sensors should look at my earlier post on general Microbial Fuel Cells.
Good Luck on your Projects!
Recommendation:
At www.academic.oup.com :
"Production of Electrical Energy from Living Plants in Microbial Fuel Cells".
This plodding video adds Black Beans, Corn & Moss to the list of plants with good, continuous production of free electrons.
It also states that soils with a lot of decomposing materials, waterlogged plants with low resistance to heat & less direct exposure to the sun have the large collections of microbes needed.
Be warned, however, this video likes to repeat its info twice B4 moving on...
Ugh.
We need better editors.
Anyway, enjoy your day.
Tomorrow Never Ends...
And Solutions Lead The Way There.
Rest - for now.
