haha oh man okay i can do this....i'm not going to put it under a read more cuz i think that would defeat the purpose (but if you don't care just hit the j key and it should skip the post)

1. i feel very strongly! i used to think it was a weakness but i believe it to be a strength now. not to deny that it makes sorrow a lot harder to deal with but the joy i feel has honestly kept me from seriously considering suicide. i can honestly say that i fought my way out of my extreme depression because of it

2. i'm artistic! i can draw, i can paint, i can talk for hours about colors! i've made my own head out of clay before! i help teach children's painting classes! i've worked as a makeup artist for a haunted house!

3. I'M SMART!! for the longest time (and sometimes even now) i've believed that i'm stupid because i didn't/don't do well in school. it's taken a long time but i've realized that the american education system isn't a system that works for me and that i actually am smart

4. i am 100% myself!!! oh man it took a long time to get to this point. i used to always think that i had to hide or change part of myself so that i could be accepted as a person, but growing up made me realize that compromising myself for others is dangerous business that could make me lose myself. i'm going to be 22 in less than a month and i'm still figuring out myself (like i might not be cis??? talk about unexpected) but i've learned that i should never hide anything about myself

5. i believe myself to be a good person! like don't get me wrong, i have done bad things in my life, everyone has. but despite previous and current mistakes, i strive for goodness in my life and the lives of those around me
