who’s the cuddler: You know that’s hard to say. I think they’re both cuddlers in different ways.  Like, Kouha is pure Big Spoon and also very [[reclines, looking generally inviting and indulgent]] while Alibaba is very Little Spoon and [[aggressively tries not to bring attention to himself as he snuggles Kouha]] and [[delighted cuddling noises]]

who makes the bed: Probably neither of them tbh but if anyone was gonna it’d be Alibaba.  Kouha’s prolly more inclined to leave it to whoever does housekeeping and Alibaba doesn’t like. Really make the bed but he kind generally pulls the covers straight so they aren’t a huge mess.

who wakes up first: Hm…. On the one hand, I could see both of them being pretty happy to indulge in sleeping in a lot, or otherwise not being inclined to get up if they don’t have to/don’t want to.  On the other hand I feel like they’re both pretty disciplined in some aspects so. Hm.

I guess I’m going with: Alibaba is more likely to wake up first but ONLY if he has practice/training of some sort scheduled for the morning.  Kouha is more likely to set his schedule so that he doesn’t have to wake up early if he can help it, and prefers to leave training to the afternoon anyway.

who has the weird taste in music: Kouha all the way. Alibaba’s pure pop radio trashhhhhh Kouha’s into all the obscure stuff.

who is more protective: They’re both pretty friggin protective tbh. Kouha’s prolly the one more likely to actually murder someone for the sake of being protective tho.

who sings in the shower: Alibabaaaaaa he’s got a decent voice but he’s loud and Kouha loves it so endearing.

who cries during movies:  Alibaba again. xD Kouha is probably like Seo (from gsnk) when watching movies: doesn’t care who dies or gets hurt, just laughs because it’s entertaining and probably wildly rewrites the narratives in his head to better suit his tastes.

who spends the most while out shopping:  Kouha.  Alibaba is like “UM CAN WE BUDGET” and Kouha is like. “what’s a budget? Can you eat it.”

who kisses more roughly:  Kouhaaaaa but only bc Alibaba likes it heheheh.

who is more dominate: Kouha 100%.  Alibaba is the Most Sub when he’s pairing with Best Dom Kouha.

my rating of the ship from 1-10:  WELL I. I really like it but there are some problems w/r/t the themes of their canon dynamic re: their countries and power imbalances and such.  Prolly put it at a 7.5 tho bc I really really like it.

If Alibaba had been aware that the business group he was supposed to  be escorting had been… what they were, he probably would have outright refused. Or at least not so boldly cut off the ties he had had with the much safer Sindria group. 

"It’s not so bad once you get used to it," his pink haired companion offered, flashing wickedly sharp teeth in his direction. "My girls love it!" And true enough, Alibaba had heard them time and again begging to be the one who kept their master well energized and fed. 

"Besides, your blood smells way better than theirs. En won’t mind if I take a little snack." The other was suddenly, dangerously close, words coming from a mouth far too close to his neck. He almost wished that the presence brought the uncomfortable warmth of breath against his neck. This was far worse.

3- Are they open about their relationship? How do they feel about public displays of affection?

Hmmmm I feel like Kouha's in a situation where he's got a lot of freedom with what he can do, since he's the third prince and, as he's said himself, no one's expecting much from him.  Alibaba's also in a position of. . .not exactly having to keep up appearances, so I think they'd both be free to be open about it if they wanted to be.  

BASICALLY what all that means is that they'd probably be pretty open about it.  WHICH LEADS INTO THE PDA BIT because I mean they wouldn't be like, gross in public (well maybe a little gross), but they'd definitely be touchy and smoochy and Alibaba's finally got an SO you know he's gonna rub it in everyone's face. Kouha finds it endearing at least, in a 'wow you're such a big loser ily' sort of way. Also Kouha does a lot of public butt-touching because Alibaba always squeaks when he does.  And it's a nice butt so. Yeah.

5- Nicknames? Pet names? Any in-jokes?

Do 'loser' and 'asshole' count as petnames.

No but really they prolly call each other all sorts of awful things and it's all in good fun they just.  Needle each other endlessly it's all very immature and silly.  

I'm sure they have in-jokes, I just can't think of any atm.  That being said a lot of those in-jokes probably have to do with pranks they've pulled, both together and on each other.  These two are genuine menaces to society they pull so many pranks and get into so much trouble.  This is the OTP of boys with too much responsibility on their shoulders who just 100% let go of all pretensions to seriousness around each other.

Shops for groceries: Kouha is confused as to why Alibaba would go out himself to buy groceries (seriously, that’s what servants are for), but then he sees Alibaba having a blast haggling and he understands (it doesn’t hurt that Alibaba buys him figs).  Also, Alibaba takes Kouha to fabric stores on grocery shopping days to make him happy.

Kills the spiders: Alibaba is used to spiders, having lived in the slums, but Kouha… he takes a borderline perverse pleasure in killing spiders.  In the most over-the-top way possible.  There are sword holes in the walls of their apartment which Kouha covers up with tapestries.

Comes home drunk at 3am: Once again, Alibaba does.  And it’s usually Kouha’s fault.

Makes breakfast: Alibaba would make the breakfast, because once again, Kouha's not used to the idea of not having servants make breakfast for him.  At first Alibaba's... not that good, but he takes lessons from Hakuryuu so he can make better food for Kouha and Kouha is very grateful for his cousin's intervention.  Especially once Alibaba manages to make Kouha figs filled with ashta (clotted cream) made the traditional way.

Remembers to feed the fish: Interestingly, it’s Kouha who remembers to feed the fish… to the cat Alibaba managed to sneak into their place.  And it’s a fluffy orange cat named Fireball.

Decorates the apartment: KOUHA.  SO MUCH.  He has so many beautiful ideas for how their place will be like, and he has to cover up the sword holes in the walls, so it’s usually up to him to buy the tapestries.  Alibaba just lets it happen because at least nobody has to see the sword holes.

Initiates duets: Both of them are equally inclined to singing, so they take turns initiating duets, but when push comes to shove, Alibaba initiates duets 51% of the time.  And he picks the cheesiest songs too.

Falls asleep first: Alibaba, though Kouha falls asleep very shortly afterward, but not before making ABSOLUTELY SURE he’s the big spoon… Kouha always wakes up in the morning to find he’s the little spoon again.  He likes it way more than he’ll ever admit.
