So this ended up happening. Don't ask how, I just ended up with all the shit farming other things.

So, Haaselia made a hell of a lot more sense to me when I turned my sound on.

She's linked with the Moon, deceit and hidden truth, and it's a little easier to understand why in Japanese. I could never figure out why she's mistaken for a child at all until I listened more closely--she third-persons herself like a child when she's initially talking to the crew or to nobles in her flashbacks. Even to her brother! She only switches to a more normal watashi when she's alone with her maid.

She also uses the casual anta with her maid, but polite anata when meeting the crew--and then the insulting anta when she threatens the crew in the end. That was actually what made me go back and listen to her previous Fates and pay attention to her language; that sharp anta really stood out after all her formal talk.

She sounds very much like a polite little princess (all the desu wa) in a way that's hard to articulate, because she doesn't sound stupid/crazy like a lot of third-personing characters tend to sound. She just...sounds young and like she's purposely positioning herself lower than others socially.

Eternals x Evokers

So, I have been working on a “eternals and evokers are fodders for each other” theory and I thought I should share it, cause I am stuck in some parts and would like opinions. This will obviously have spoilers for both the Evokers and Eternals storylines.

Lobelia x Siete:

They both want people to be happy, except Siete wants it in a just and good way, as a Seigi no Mikata, while Lobelia wants people to be free to do wathever they want, which will lead to their happiness (I also have a theory that lobelia would be the best option for the Evoker´s leader, so leader x leader, but that doesn´t really matter). They are also genius with specific/unique skills that make them extremely powerful.

Fif x Caim: 

Both super genius kids, but as Fif had someone to teach and guide her, she didn´t go off in the dark path, which, sadly, didn´t happen to Caim (it also ties with my theory that FLB caim will remember his past, but choose to do better, after knowing he can do it).

Haaselia and Katzelia x Katoru and Tien :

Both siblings, except the first pair was born in poverty and alone, but were able to build their own family, while the other was born as royalty and surrounded by other people that cared for them, but were betrayed by and lost their whole family. Last but not least, the eternal siblings sought power to protect others, while the evoker ones sought power for revenge.

Geisenborger x Sarasa : 

Both are super strong and competent warriors with hunger for battle and even more strength, but while Sarasa was able to remain "human" and still remember how to live life outside the battlefield, Borger pretty much lost that ability and is relearning it with the crew.

Six x Nier:

Both killed their family, after spending their whole lives being abused by them, but while Seox was able to leave his past behind and become a force for good, Nier didn´t, and became a even worse monster than her abusers.

Estarriola x Okto:

Both sought power, but sleepytato had to look for a source outside of himself, while Okto learned how to bring his innermost potential to the outside, depending on his own power, and keeps surpassing his own limits.

Alanaan x Uno:

They both sought to bring good and justice to the world, except Uno looked for the help of other people to do it in a clean and good way, while Alanaan did, well, he did his thing (the whole religious murder thingie).

Now this is where my theory gets a little messy. I don´t really know much about the last 4 (both storyline and personality), since I don´t really care about them. But here is what I was able to come up with.

Niyon x Maria Theresa:

Both are capable women, but while MT was very extroverted and loud and trusted other easily (which caused her downfall, and kind of changed that about her) Nier is more introverted, and quiet and slow to trust others.

Fraux x Song:    

I will be honest, these are the two characters in this list I know/care the least about. But from what i know/remember about them, they are both the livelier people in their teams, as well as the most open to others, except fraux has a really dark past, while Song´s wasn´t as bad.

Anyway, this is my theory for the Eternals X Evokers connection. Any thoughts or ideas on these last 4 characters is welcome. Or on the whole theory too. I just have been thinking about this for quite a while and wanted to share it.
