Upcoming Danish family series on TV 2 has been visited by a star from the Norwegian hit series.
The recordings for the new series 'Håbet' are in full swing and had a recent visit from our Norwegian neighbors.
One of the girls from the hugely popular Norwegian series 'Skam', in fact, plays a role in the Danish series, which will take place in 1899.
Lisa Teige, who in 'Skam' has the role of Eva, plays a girl whom the orphan Marie, 15, meets in Norway as she walks at sea on the skipper 'Haabet' to find her missing father. A seaman, everybody believes, rests in the sailor's wet tomb.
Even the Norwegian star says it was a little challenging to play plays in a language other than the mother tongue.
"It was exciting to play for another time than I'm used to, but it was a challenge to understand what everyone said in Danish. But it went better at last, says Lisa Teige to TV 2.
The Norwegian actress has pulled a little from the subject after the huge popularity that 'Skam' got in many parts of the world. She has started a study in contemporary dance at the Kunsthøgskolen in Oslo.
"I still play plays, but it's hard to find time alongside studying. But it is nice to take some smaller roles that I had the opportunity for in the 'Håbet , says Lisa Teige and continues:
"It's sad that 'Skam' is over, since it has been an adventurous experience.
