Free to download, the app HabitMinder is extremely helpful for individuals who want to create and maintain healthy goals for themselves. It allows for creativity with the custom habit option but also has suggested habits that relate to the body, the mind, healthy behaviours, appreciation habits (i.e. be thankful) and various commitments (i.e. calling a friend).
Additionally, with the helpful reminders in place, like notifications and alarms, it helps one remember and complete their goal. Furthermore, the app records and shows the statistics and the history of the completion of habits. Both the sound effects when completing and logging goals and the statistics are positive reinforcement for completing healthy goals.
This app is for adults and this is shown through the suggested habits (not relevant for children) and premium option (need a credit card to pay). With the free option, one can choose three goals to work on at a time, which is helpful. However, with the premium option, a calendar synchronization, year by month statistic chart, iCloud synch option, ability to skip goals, option to add notes, and create a passcode are all available.
