it’s probably been about 4 years since i’ve actually animated something for real but last night i managed to overcome my fear of drawing new frames from scratch and managed to make a pretty darn good hachi!!

#miodoodledavinci #hachikyo #so originally this was going to be way simpler #and it was just going to be a little 'woah there' bounce on the hand #but then i remembered that pencil2D's selection and transform tools are awful #and i knew it was going to be way harder to make things look smooth when the frames are similar and close together #so i just ended up animating a whole arm wave #i'm real proud of myself for it ! ! !#i even tried adding some mild smears to give it a bit of weight ! ! !#please enjoy this good hachikyo content ! ! ! !#and just because this is hachi and i've done it before #please don't tag as kin

i feel sort of silly about these but i took a break from doing kofis last night to doodle some tiny no-pen-pressure hachis and ended up making an emote scale complete with some canon snippets of dialogue hachikyo really is a mess but these ended up being super cute so i’m posting them here anyway w
