Be very careful when you get comments like this in your posts. This is an attempt of hacking. They may look like ordinary accounts but do not send them a private message.
The "Please send me a message" is them trying to get a hold on your info. Never give it out. Please don't open your DMs to random people. Them saying they can't message you is them getting you to then do it and allowing them in, tricking you. As many of us have private messaging only open to friends only.
They don't want to talk to you about your account. THEY WANT TO TAKE IT!!! Just report and block.
Stay safe.
JUST A REMINDER!
Just a reminder that there is, in fact, a scamming/hacking attempt going on.
If you get a text that looks like this:
(Also I'm like 95% sure that's not even a real report, that's a Google Document.)
With a text that has, something along the lines of:
"This all happened because I got misled and accidentally flagged your account instead of someone else’s. You both had the same profile picture and handle, and I didn’t notice the difference at first. I was really confused and frustrated, and I made a big mistake. I’m really sorry about that. I was hoping you could help me clarify to Tumblr’s team that it was just a misunderstanding."
THEN IT IS A SCAM. IT IS AN ATTEMPT TO HACK YOUR ACCOUNT.
Do NOT fall for it.
Tumblr will NEVER have you contact them via Discord.
They have a support page! Not random Discord accounts. Do not trust the Discord accounts.
AS WELL AS THAT, your account will be fine if it's falsely been reported! If the report itself was fake and your account hasn't done anything wrong, then Tumblr Staff will simply ignore the false/"accidental" report.
Anyways, I'm just saying this because I was just messaged with the attempt that I fall for it. (I already reported the account stating that it's been hacked.)
Update: The hacker deleted the account I reported.
I think someone tried to hack into my blogs. Saturday I got an email from Tumblr saying I was having password issues.
When I wasn’t, I logged onto the browser but I knew my login.
Needless to say I changed my password.
imagine getting hacked on tumblr

Nine Out of 10 Businesses Experienced Hacking Attempts: HSB Survey
A new Hartford Steam Boiler study finds that 90 percent of businesses experienced a hacking attempt last year, up 21 percent from the year before, according to risk managers. Nearly a quarter of businesses (22 percent) saw more than 15 hacking attempts, the survey revealed.
“Hackers are even more relentless,” said Eric Cernak, cyber practice leader for Munich Re, parent company of HSB.

Yahoo Mail shutdown
Got a suspicious e-mail that said that I'm using the old version of Yahoo Mail and I should log in if I don't want my account deleted.
It's a confirmed hacking attempt, so everybody should ignore it.
