pissed off rant from a wolf:
i just saw some tiktok post which was just like quadrobics (i have zero issue with quads this is just for context) and i was like cool! then i opened the comments to see misinformation after misinformation from the creator?? the critter was replying to comments, saying things like "no therians don't actually think they're animals!" ,,, oh my lord. now in no way is this me coming for the validity of their identity etc, but can i just say that before labeling yourself as something (therian, fictionkin, otherkin, whatever) you might wanna know the definition of the label is? I’m not saying you have to know every term ever, but not knowing the baseline definition of a therian while you yourself are one ? And not only that, but also going out and spreading blatant misinformation?? I wouldn’t even usually say anything about this and can usually ignore it but it just pmo pmo pmo

i am though, well aware I’m preaching to the choir on this. I’m not saying that all therians/alterhumans who stem from platforms like tiktok are “fake” or don’t know what they’re talking about, just a wolf’s rambles.
