The distinctive reddy-pink new fronds of Doodia media (common rasp fern, hacksaw fern). This native of Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands grows from a slowly spreading rhizome and needs moist growing conditions. It grows well in warm, humid glasshouse.
