i wonder sometimes if eurydice was mad at me for making a deal to give hades my voice and take her place in hadestown. i never got to see her again and i made the decision without asking her, so she might say it was wrong or i was being selfish again. i just hope she was happy. i don't think i would ever have been able to be happy up on the surface without her but. i think she would have been able to live without me. she was always a lot stronger than i was in that way. -orpheus (hadestown)

something no one seems to think about with any version of the orpheus and eurydice story is. walking all the way to the underworld is not a short or easy walk. and then imagine having to do that again UPHILL! like i feel like no one sits down and thinks about how physically taxing that is. - Orpheus Hadestown #🎵🌼

i cant listen to the hadestown soundtrack at all actually it fucks up my emotional state really really bad.

ok anyways really sucks being an orpheus without a eurydice. i miss her. i feel catatonic and empty inside. i live every day feeling like its the day i turned around
