(okay, I just realised that there is still to some degree a dispute that Ducky from 'THE LAND BEFORE TIME' may have been either a Saurolophus or a Parasaurolophus -- though the former would have seemed more accurate, honestly.)

Last year, I started a series of dinosaur line art. This is the first "four". :)

Compsognathus longipes is a small theropod known from two skeletons from the Upper Jurassic limestones of Germany and France. The reconstruction is based on a smaller, German specimen. For a long time it was considered the smallest dinosaur, but now smaller taxa are known.

Sinoceratops zhuchengensis is a centrosaurine and currently the only genus of Asian ceratopsids. It is known for partial skulls with unusual collar ornamentation from the Upper Cretaceous of China.

Maiasaura peeblesorum is a hadrosaurid known from more than 200 specimens, including nests with eggs and cubs, from Montana and Alberta. It overturned previous ideas about the parental behavior of dinosaurs.

Hypsilophodon foxii is a small ornithischian known from a variety of specimens from England. It was previously depicted as an arboreal animal, but is now known as a terrestrial, running herbivore.

Parasaurolophus Parasaurolophus walkeri

Wah, dino week complete! It's been a while since I did an art challenge & I really enjoyed it! We're ending with a very iconic dinosaur that is very marvellous, parasaurolophus, who can sing a lovely chorus that I'm sure made many birds jealous. I'll stop before I bore us. But yeag, last I heard, we actually have a pretty good idea how this iconic animal sounded! Very trumpet-ey. I can't help but think of Dinosaur King ™ with this dinosaur, too.

I'll do more 2026drawdinodaily prompts that come up when I can. Looking forward to Hoatzin, Butcher bird, Kentrosaurus & Kakapo! See you then!

Dinovember Day 11 : Edmontosaurus

The recently described mummy of #edmontosaurus and the oportunity to draw it in it's Now more accurate representation couldn't be passed.

I also gave it the #jurassicworldevolution skin.

I hope we find more mummys of different dinosaurs species, but meamwhile, a closer look at how this giant hadrosaur looked in life is so cool.
