I'm surprised I've not seen anyone else focus on how freaky this thing must have looked from the front...

Sorry this one's so late! I fell behind a bit but I'm working to catch back up, I'll try to post a couple a day until I'm up to date again. Hopefully I can keep up from here on out, I'll try my best to stay on top of it again :3

Protective Parents

Even a giant Deinocheirus should know better than to get on the wrong side of an aggressive mother Saurolophus.

I know I continue to be behind, but I'm trying my best amidst some mental struggles. Even if I'm left playing catch up, I'm determined to get every piece done eventually, hopefully before the end of the month <3

Starting Off Small

Gazing upon the skull of this land's apex predator, this young Parasaurolophus knows little of the dangers of its world and how lucky it must be to survive its first year.

I ended up putting a lot more time and effort into this piece than I initially intended, hence why it's a little bit late, but I'm really proud of how it turned out. I'll stick to much quicker sketches for the next few days to catch my breath, but I'm hoping to make a couple more pieces like this down the line :3

Kelumapusaura

As you may have noticed, I got a bit behind, and while I will go back and finish the ones I missed I thought it made sense to just skip ahead to the current prompts and try to keep up with those for the time being.

This one's definitely not my best work, the Austroraptor in particular could be a lot better, but I'm happy to at least have another sketch done. Looking forward to the next couple of pieces!

A curious azhdarchid lands on a floating mass of vegetation to observe its strange passenger. Neither of them can know that she will be one of the first of her kind to colonise the continent of Africa.

I'm really unhappy with this one but I don't think it's worth scrapping it entirely and doing something else, that would just put me further behind again, so I'm just gonna post it and live with the shame. I'll do better next time.

Instigated by perhaps my greatest ever pun, this art prompt list was created by myself and Olof Moleman, and it's full of fun and unique hadrosaur-themed prompts for the weeks of December leading up to Christmas!

All being well I'll be posting my daily sketches here and on Bluesky, but if you feel like drawing some hadrosaurs or want something fun and maybe even challenging to do this coming month, I'd absolutely love for you to join in :3
