hi! and thanks for asking, that's Hahn and Sokka from avatar the last airbender. They're (if you don't know) rivals and are both, in the show, vying for the same girl Yue. Naturally I see rivals and think they should be gay about it lol. I really like them together despite it being a rare pair because they get on each others nerves in such a fun way, like Hahn is kind of this haughty asshole who thinks he's better than everyone, especially Sokka, and Sokka immediately senses his douchery and gives it back sevenfold, so the squabbling and bickering is like the best part of the dynamic. There's also the fact that Yue tragically dies, so you have these two rivals who both cared greatly about this girl potentially sharing grief which adds some good ol angst to the pairing.

I also just think that Hahn is a really under explored character in the fandom in general and am a big fan of making up my own lore for why hes Like That.

Hit with the sudden need for a toxic hahnkka in a modern au where Sokka and Hahn cling onto each other because Yue's long gone, all they have is this weird grief, and they want to know what Yue had found so interesting about the other guy.

Like they full on hate each other at first, but are also incredibly curious. And somewhere along the way, they become begrudgingly fond of each other. The hate is still somewhat there, but the relationship has become way more complex than the either of them could have ever expected.

But also, I need constant flashback memories of them and Yue where she's doing that "dead angelic wife" movie trope and seems so much more ethereal, like she's a concept instead of a person in their memories.

But most importantly of all, I need it to be revealed that Yue's actually alive at the end, and that they knew it all along. She's just living somewhere super far away.

I don't know why, but the shipping name for Sokka and Hahn, "hahnkka", looks pretty similar to "hanahaki". Kind of want a hanahaki disease au for hahnkka now.
