More Shades the series propaganda because not only is it a banger show, theres literally a lesbian for every occasion. I'm not joking.

First up we've got the player, Amy that has a bunch of girls alllll over her at this catholic girls school. And yes she does have an acoustic guitar and she does play it constantly. She has a fwb to lovers arc with Sophie.

Sophie is the goodest of girls at the good girl catholic school, she's the student council president and a role model for younger students. however she's secretly a big ol homo and has been hooking up with Amy for a while before the start of the series. But watch out, her mommy issues are severe!

Next we have Jane, the adorable loser lesbian who is new to the school. She sees the leader of the mean girl group and immediately develops a crush, and it's not subtle because she seems to be incapable of not saying every thought that pops into her head. Absolute dork (lovingly).

Nano is the mean girl cheerleader in question. She is obsessed with status and looks and also loves cats (?). Her facial expressions read everyone to filth, like you will know when she is disgusted put off by someone. Also she is seemingly in debt to everyone st school, uh oh! Her and Jane have a will they won't they situationship going on.

Next up is the resident broke fujoshi boyband rpf shipper! Earn is the sweetest character in this show fr. Unfortunately her family is broke and she was groomed into sex work, and she is paranoid about being found out at school. Also, she's in love with her best friend.

Belle, Earns best friend is a delinquent with a heart of gold. She can't even be bullied or expelled because her aunt is the mother superior of the school. She has anger issues and bad habits and her deadpan looks are peak. Also ☝️she speaks french.

And last but not least of the main homo cast is teacher Nalin. Her mom has cancer and so she needs this job close to the school, but she is an alumni and has a history of banging her ex on school grounds (she is still hung up on said ex). She is supposed to rat out any "inappropriate" behaviours ie lesbian happenings at the school, but will she?

Hot take, but even if you ARE punching up (instead of punching sideways at a group that is in the same boat as you), there's a limit to what you can say without sounding like a violent facist but woke this time.

Making fun of a group of people that are privileged over you is one thing, but wishing non-cartoonish violence and death on them ("they should fall off a cliff" vs. "they should be wiped out"), wishing sexual violence on them, dehumanising them, claiming that they're less capable of creating art or living meaningful lives, saying that their relationships are inherently shallow and fake - these things are fucked up. I understand venting and saying extreme things when in pain, but when you find yourself regularly posting about wanting certain people tortured and killed, you need to examine that.

When the only thing stopping you from completely dehumanising someone is your own judgement regarding their privilege level relative to yours, you are not a safe person to be around.
