Mark Watney finding out that his fiance was deemed expendable due to him being declared dead. Mark Watney demanding to have his own one manned rocket to go after the Hail Mary. Mark Watney wishing he did die on Mars. Mark Watney loving Ryland Grace enough to back into space to get him back.
