since eridians have taboos around eating, I wonder what euphemisms they have

for example, many humans have taboos around expelling waste, so a common phrase in english is “to use the bathroom/toilet”

perhaps something like “to take in/receive” could be used. it has strange connotations in English, but probably wouldn’t have the same effect in Eridian considering their differing body plan

another similar idea is “to fuel” or “to energise”

my last idea is indirectness through abstraction. like “to do what is necessary” or “to attend to oneself”. or by removing the direct word: “to have some (food)”
