For the record, this is what I think of when I read/see that Lena has wavy/curly hair. Not whatever crimping is happening below:
Like, its not BAD, per se... its just crimped hair and curly/wavy hair are different beasts. And I default to one over the other when visualizing.
And when I reference Lena's hair in the Old Guard AU, I mean the former, not the latter.
