Sometimes I can't believe this is really The Sims 3.

I've been building some vacant houses. All based on real locations.

I can't help myself; I redid my custom Mayumachi layout AGAIN. This is version 9, I think?

I realized that having so many small lots in such a dense area on the right side of the map was causing a ton of lag. My game was trying to render all the adjacent lots whenever I was in Build/Buy mode, even after I set all my graphics options to low. Hopefully combining those mini lots into bigger ones will cut down on that.

Other changes:

Removed the trees at the back of the town

Replaced them with a retaining wall for more visual interest

Extended the road around the residential area

Recolored the roads to gray and removed median lines

Added more crosswalks and appropriate signage

Swapped the modern streetlights to older looking ones (Apology Streetlight)

Now, back to replacing all the lots...
