I am far from one of the Qanon crazies or a conspiracy theorist, but I never did like that my older sister got an Alexa in her home. I found it creepy. Said as much.

Me: OK, so you have let Hal 3000 take over your house.

Her: Oh, We make sure to turn her off when we leave the house.

Me:  So, you acknowledge the risk of having a spy in your home?

Her: Maybe? But come on. Alexa would never do anything, She’s just a harmless robot thing.

Me: This is how horror movies start. Soon she will seduce your spouse and plot to kill you. Like in that Simpsons Halloween episode with Pierce Brosnan.

So I think my iPod is HAL 9000. The longer I spend on Tumblr, the battery dies faster. As soon as I close out Tumblr, the battery actually builds back up. It’s as if its becoming self aware and is trying to protect me. What if it loves me.
