HAL W AN S/O TRYING TO FLUSTER HIM PLS.... or really hal anything im starved

hal fans u guys seem so starved. there's like, probably three of you total, but i'm still here and ready to deliver. love u guys. i wrote this with the assumption that Hal has a body in this, haha.

HAL WITH A S/O WHO TRIES TO FLUSTER HIM

"Babe, I can 100% assure you, there is no way that you're ever going to fluster me."

A challenge. That's what Hal had delivered to you whilst lounging on the couch with you. He sounded so, so sure of himself.

That simply won't do. There has to be SOME way that you can fluster Hal. You just aren't entirely sure of how to go through with your plan to fluster him, not just yet.

And so you spend the rest of the day on this mission. Trying to find some way that you can fluster Hal.

He catches on rather quickly, when you sneak up on him from behind and embrace him. You plant kisses all over his cold metallic face, smothering him with affection. But all you can manage to get from him in response is.. a grin.

"That was a great attempt. You should totally keep that up. But I swear, you can't fluster me."

And now you were left in a constant mission to figure out how, if at all, you can fluster your robot boyfriend.

HAL WITH A PHYSICALLY AFFECTIONATE S/O

⚡As soon as Hal gets a body built, he’s pretty sensitive to new things and touches.

⚡Not in a bad way, though! And at first, he’s about to have a snarky remark to Dirk about his body- but then you hug him, and everything around him just..melts.

⚡He can get used to this fast, and he loves how amazing it feels.

⚡For a while, he kind of just nonchalantly refuses to not be holding or touching you in some way.

⚡Like, he loves being near you and having sensors to feel and such too much.

⚡Don’t worry, he starts to get less clingy.

(I saw someone ask this on a different HC blog and I thought it was real cute so!) Could I get HCs on how the Striders, plus Davesprite and Hal, reacting to their s/o just staring at them for awhile and then start to cry. when asked what's wrong their just like "I just love you so freaking much!"

💿 Then you bust out crying and he's like "oh shit oh fuck"

💿 Then you tell him you just love him so much and-- yeah you two are both crying over this.

DIRK

❤ You staring worries him, too.

❤ He's trying to crack the puzzle of what must be going on in your head

❤ Then you start crying-- he drops everything and rushes to your side

❤ When you explain, he sighs, softly pulling you into his arms, whispering an "I love you, too." back.

DAVESPRITE

🌞 You staring causes him an unholy anxiety that he isn't proud of.

🌞 And honestly? He starts to assume the worst.

🌞 He thinks you might break up with him or something-- oh, you're bawling your eyes out. Okay.

🌞 When you tell him why, his heart explodes a bit. He pulls you into a hug, wrapping his wings around you.

HAL

⚡ See, he already isn't the best with emotions.

⚡ So he doesn't know what to do.

⚡ And you start crying? Yeah he absolutely panics.

⚡ And then you tell him why and he just...melts. He's so glad he can be good enough for you.

HAL'S S/O MAKES HIM A ROBOT BODY!

⚡ He doesn't know what to say.

⚡ He enters the body, looks around, and just..starts to stare at you in disbelief.

⚡ Then slowly walks over, taking in every moment of movement. He feels so..alive. So normal.

⚡ And he hugs you...it feels so right. He loves it.

⚡ He let's out choked, mechanical sobs-- despite the fact no tears can pour.

Striders, Hal and Davepetasprite with a s/o who tries to handle a sword but is awful at it, and somehow still never hurts themself even when the blade goes flying?

STRIDERS ( + HAL AND DAVEPETA) WITH A S/O WHO CAN'T HANDLE A SWORD

Dave:

💿 He decided to teach you for self-defense reasons. He wants you to be safe, after all.

💿 He didn't take into consideration the chance that you might not be able to handle a sword as masterfully as he could though.

💿 He always tries to make sure you don't get hurt, even when the sword goes flying.

💿 It's not needed though, you seem to be lucky enough to not get hit by the sword... somehow.

💿 He jokes around, asking if you're using witchcraft to protect yourself.

Dirk:

❤ He doesn't feel the need to teach you swordsmanship, he feels as if he protect you himself.

❤ So you'll probably have to ask him.

❤ He starts explaining a basic foot stance, and you seem to be following along!

❤ But then he asks you to try it... and you're not doing too good.

❤ Oh well, foot stance isn't that important, he supposes.

❤ He hands you a sword he has laying around, and asks you to swing it.

❤ He has to dive out of the way to avoid being cut.

❤ He'll take the sword away, suggesting a movie or something else for the rest of the day.

Hal:

⚡ He tries to teach you out of boredom.

⚡ He's positive he can protect you, and you're capable of taking care of yourself anyway.

⚡ But he thought it'd be fun. Thought being the key word.

⚡ You're just not meant for swords. He's just gonna say it; you're much better at using your own strife specibus.

⚡ He'll try, again and again, to try and help you work your way around a sword, but it's an undeniable fact. You just.. can't.

⚡ He's also astounded that you never get hurt! There's such a high risk, but you never seem to actually hurt yourself.

Davepetasprite:

1. They're so excited to teach you!!

2. Unfurrtunately though, you... aren't so good at handling the sword.

3. Oh well! They're willing to keep working with you or do something else with you!

4. They're always very worried when the sword flies out of your hands and is seeming to head towards you.

5. But they're ecstatic when you don't get hurt!

Could i please request some Lil’ Hal x s/o hcs where s/o is just really lovey dovey and affectionate. they do not let the robo boy feel sad about not being “real” or whatever no no no. he gets all the love. so they just kind of hold the glasses he inhabits and gives them a lil smooch sometimes bc he deserves it... but eventually he gets a body and its poggers and woohoo cuddles!!!

⚡He doesn't mind gaming. He thinks ir's really fun!

⚡ Jake and Dirk say he's a cjetaer because he Googles codes and cheats-

⚡ But he doesn't do that with you. Our boy plays 100% fair when you two game together.

⚡ When you two AREN'T gaming together, he enjoys taking some care of you so you don't get too carried away.

⚡ Like he'll always message you every once in awhile,

⚡He will: remind you to stretch, eat, or hydrate!
