Late night kirby OC doodles from a while ago. (Well, mostly OCs, wanted to draw a quick thing with Susie and Secty) I'll write a bit more on some under the thing vvv

Came up with temp designs for Medea's parents. They're a family that has struggled financially, but kept going forward. They would always sacrifice what they could to ensure Medea would grow up well. Work longer, feed her first, school, even piano lessons, as Medea took interest at a young age. Then their little Medea grew up, with a desire to repay her parents for everything they had done for her, so she set her sights on working for Sectonia, the young spider queen. Within just the first three years, she was able to earn enough to relieve her parents of their burdens and live a less stressful life. If all were to fail, she'd always have her parents to fall back on 💙

Then there's a few random doodles, trying to draw some of the characters I don't do often (Buena B, Loren, Gallo for example)

Then an attempt at a halcandran OC. She'll fit a similar role to Magolor, probably, and be integrated into the water themed planet Moira is on, since she's lacking development, and I need to flesh out that planet more. I am... struggling to design one. I really don't know what to do with her face/ hair. All I know is that her outfit will be yellow. Bottom left is the best I've done, top left is a lil too villainous- gives me yolkian vibes from Jimmy Neutron lmao

Introducing Alachi, the rogue Doomer tamer!

Alachi is a Halcandran who shares an unusual bond with Doomers, the feared inter-dimensional creatures. He is able to use a rare form of magic called Doomer magic, which is forbidden in Halcandra out of fear.

Alachi didn’t grow up in the vast cities of Halcandra, but more in the barren and rural areas, which is why he lacks the fancy, gold-trimmed robes of the higher class. He was born in a ruinous area where rifts would open frequently in the skies, resulting in plenty of Doomers passing through. From the small land Doomers to the Greater Doomers, he was able to somehow “communicate” with them. Doomers tend to flock to him when they see him.

As he matured, he would travel alone, and study the dimensional rifts and ancient artifacts on his own expedition, using his self-taught Doomer magic to guide him.

I’ve seen a lot of Kirby ocs and I thought it’d be fun to make my own. I was especially inspired by @itsquakey and @opal-owl-flight’s art and designs. ^v^

Finally got the chance to draw the funny little guy I adopted from @opal-owl-flight! His name is Nihniya and he’s a portal wizard who likes to collect stuff from different dimensions. In a theoretical Kirby game he’d be the one place that the player could buy weird copy abilities that don’t normally appear in levels. He has a little spaceship that’s shaped like the bell on his scarf :3

Meta Knight: Yes, milord?

King Dedede: How come you and dat der Kirby look so alike? I’ve been meanin’ to ask for a while now.

Meta Knight: ‘Tis one of life’s great mysteries, is it not? What exactly is our relation? As far as enigmas go, it is amongst other questions still unanswered in our myriad adventures. Questions such as, what happened to the Ancient Halcandrans after they made the clockwork comets that roam the stars? From what void were the Dark Matter spawned and for what purpose? What were the true crimes for which the aeon hero, Galacta Knight, was locked away in a crystal prison? What was the nightmare of a galactic crisis which Hyness and his clan stopped in the past? What happened to Shiver Star and it’s inhabitants, and did they have any relations to the precursors of The Forgotten Land? Why do Waddle Dees lack a mouth?

King Dedede:

King Dedede: y’know, you could have just said somethin’ normal like, “oh he’s my adopted kid brother” or, “oh, he’s just an apprentice of mine” and not like, rambled for an hour about everything we don’t know.

Meta Knight: Apologies, milord. I thought you knew better than to ask.

Bandana Dee: I mean, you two look awfully alike when your mask isn’t on, minus the wings and all.

King Dedede: …y’know, now dat you mention it, how come Waddle Dees don’t got a mouth? You were speakin’ words just now, Bandee.

Bandana Dee: *aside glance*

but yeah, I’m going to be playing through Pokemon Violet aaaalll over again to get some foreign dittos for me and my bff to shiny hunt with. In a language that I don’t understand because I only know english, and even THATS a bit of a stretch.

(also meta has a spanish accent in the anime so like, he’s perfect for this since my brother asked me to set it to spanish lmao)

also yeah this run is gonna be inspired by Opal Owl Flight’s recent pokemon magolor stuff. I absolutely love their art! makes my day every time! :D

probably won’t be making anything else related to this tho cause honestly it’d just feel like copying and I hate the idea of copying someone.

final note- this will be the last time my halcandran self looks like that! she’s getting a redesign but its not finished enough for me to use it- the color pallet is beating me over the head with a stick XD
