Please tell me I'm not the only one that totally shipped Hayley and Alexis...
Because the show was BLATENTLY pushing it as an older/younger sister relationship. But watching back I STILL SEE ALL THE GAY SUBTEXT OK. Halexis for the win.

They couldn’t have made Alexis and Hayley kiss in that last scene at the station?
Like they had been together all along. I would have loved that. And no effort needed...
Bluntly flirting, are we, Hayley?
“We’ll just have to be late. Frankly, I am in no rush to leave this party. Thanks to your fathers excellent taste in Scotch... and daughters” Hayley to Alexis....
I love me an episode that start like this! Also - Castle literally says seconds later “there is nothing more romantic than a blackout”...
This is happening people!
I ship hayley/alexis

another PERFECT parentlock rp like if you love Hamex then you'll love this-
You: I need you, please. AM (Female Alex Moran, 20)
Stranger: Is everything okay? HH
You: No. Can I come to yours? I can't sit in the flat on my own like this. AM
Stranger: Of course, just come over. I'll put the kettle on. HH
You: Thank you. I didn't know who else to go to. AM
Stranger: No problem, you are always welcome. Do you want to talk about it? HH
You: Dad's been shot. Father won't tell me what is happening, only that he's had to go to the hospital to make sure they have the right details on his records, since he changed them. AM
Stranger: Oh god. I'm so sorry, Lex. HH
Stranger: [Established or not?]
You: (Lets go with it happened once but they though friends would be better)
Stranger: [Okay]
You: It'll be fine, I just can't sit at home waiting any more. AM
Stranger: I know. I have tea and chocolate and I can run you a bath if you want to. HH
You: Now this is why I came to you, tea and chocolate would be great. AM
Stranger: Coming right up. Got your key with you? HH
You: Got it, I'm on your street now. AM
Stranger: Lovely, I'm in the kitchen. HH
You: She pushed her key into the door, hoping her red eyes had gone down slightly as she pushed her shoes off her feet, slipping her leather jacket off her shoulders and relaxing. It was probably weird to feel so comfortable and at home in someone else's flat, but it just came naturally now. She headed for the door on the left, pushing herself up onto the kitchen side and stating "Two sugars, no need to keep p good habits now." as a greeting.
Stranger: Hamish was not exactly looking his best tonight but that never mattered with Alex. His brunette hair was messy, his glasses sitting on his bridge, slightly foggy as he poured the hot water into a mug. His slim, tall body was dressed in probably the oldest pair of pyjama bottoms he had plus a ridiculously oversized shirt. "Already happened." he said, handing the mug over before getting the chocolate from the fridge. "Bath is running, need another 6/7 minutes I guess."
You: "Perfect. Thank you, again." She picked up the mug, blowing on it lightly before taking a sip. She hadn't noticed how tired she was until now, seeing Hamish still in his pyjama's. "I just couldn't sit there, it was like the house was being extra quiet just to make me feel alone." She pulled her messy hair up off her face and into a loose bun, smiling strangely. "It felt... so empty."
Stranger: "Lex, you know you're always welcome here. No matter what." he smiled, knowing right now was not the right time to hug her. That would come later. "But I know the feeling. Whenever something happened to my Father and Mum would play everything cool and tell me absolutely nothing, it was exactly the same. I always went for a run which I regretted immediately." he chuckled.
You: "Amateur mistake, sugar is always the key to feeling better and not exercise. " She sipped her tea again, sighing gently. "He has to be fine. He's tough as nails, I bet the bullet just bounced off and they're spending ages checking him for no reason." Alex laughed, but it was hollow and didn't spread up to her eyes.
Stranger: "Of course he'll be fine." Hamish said softly, sighing as he ruffled his hair. "So, you are going to take a nice, hot bath now. IPod's already there, such as books. Take your tea and your chocolate and try thinking about anything else for a moment, okay?" he whispered, pressing a kiss to her head.
You: Alex hopped off the side, ruffling his hair again and biting her lip for a moment. "This might seem a bit weird, but will you sit and talk to me? I mean, it's not like you haven't seen /me/ before. It might be an easier distraction if you were there, y'know? Sorry, if that's too much to ask. I understand." She kept her eyes on him, waiting for a reaction. She knew it would be impossible to try to read a book right now, and music didn't seem to drown out her thoughts.
Stranger: Hamish didn't know what to say for a moment. He looked at her with a faint blush on his cheeks before nodding. "Sure. Of course I can." he said softly, taking his own mug. Swallowing thickly he turned the stove off, having Alex lead the way to the bathroom. Some quiet music was playing in the background but Hamish was too lazy to go over and turn the radio off. In the bathroom, he closed the door, turning away from her. "Do you want to sleep here?"
You: She followed with her mug, moving towards the bath before slipping her clothes off and letting mer body disappear under the bubbles. She sighed again, letting go and saying "Alright you can turn around now." whilst trying to think of a reply to his question. "I guess, if I don't get any news and that would be fine by you? I'll kip on the sofa, I don't mind. I probably won't spend much time sleeping anyway."
Stranger: Turning around, Hamish moved to sit down on the floor across from the tub so that he was able to look at her. Luckily her body was completely wrapped up in bubbles. At least right now. "There is no way I am going to let you sleep on the couch." he said, shaking his head. "You are sleeping in my bed and you're going to have Gordon to take care of you." Another moment for Hamish to blush as he mentioned the name of his little plush penguin that he'd gotten as a little boy and still kept in his bedroom.
You: "Gordon? Boy, I am being spoilt today." Alex laughed, this time for real and it felt good. "You are amazing, you know that, right?" She ran her fingers through the bubbles, taking a handful and blowing them out of the bath towards where he sat.
Stranger: "Just being a decent human being." he said with a smirke, frowning at the attempt of her to hit him with bubbles which failed of course. "Gordon will be happy to snuggle up with you." he chuckled, shrugging slightly. "It's nothing you wouldn't also do for me. You must be exhausted and tired and you have a much better reason to be sleeping in a comfy bed than I have."
You: She rested her arms on the side of the bath, leaning back but keeping her eyes on him. "Good, we wouldn't want an unhappy stuffed penguin now would we? That's probably not true, but you aren't going to let me win this one so I'll give in." She shut her eyes. "Tell me about your life at the moment."
Stranger: "Oh Lex, you know how my life is at the moment." he chuckled but gave in, knowing that she needed it to relax. "Well, it's depressing. As always. Far too much stuff to do for Uni. Really into the band you showed me last time I was around. Can't keep my hands off of them. The kind of probably not even real date I had last week with that blonde girl was an utter failure, who would have though." he started rambling, yawning softly.
Stranger: *thought
You: "Mhm," She murmured, keeping her eyes closed as she listened to his voice. "They're playing in May, somewhere in Camden if you fancy it. How was it a failure? She must have something wrong with her not to go for a guy like you."
Stranger: "Of course I fancy that. It's been ages since we've been on a proper concert." he said softly, the warm, humid air in the bathroom making him more than a little bit sleepy. "Well, thank you for those kind words but I am simply the most awkward guy there is on dates. And she just left half way through. I know her from Uni and she wanted to go watch a movie and half way through she stands up and says: 'Sorry, got to go. Have fun and have the rest of the popcorn, bye!' and left."
You: "I'll book 'em then," She yawned, opening her eyes again. "No you're not, she's just weird. Who walks out just like that? I mean come on, at least take the food with you. I'm sorry though, must have been an awful night."
Stranger: "The movie wasn't even good." he groaned, shaking his head. "Some weird chick flick thing with Bradley Cooper or so." Turning his head away, he shrugged, not mentioning that he had of course watched the whole movie because he was just that weird.
You: "Bradley Coopers usually a sign of a good one, and it sounds better than most of the movies I used to drag you to." Alex teased, smirking. "Remember when we went to see that horror one, with the poltergeists and you had to sneak me in because they didn't believe I was old enough? I used to be so short, it was like you had a mini me."
Stranger: Laughing loudly, he remembered those times very well. "They always asked whether you were my little sister. How silly. You were just so short." he giggled, rubbing his face softly, groaning. He was in desperate need of a shave, his beard was already longer than he thought suited him. "At least now you're able to buy alcohol without them staring."
Stranger: [brb dear]
You: [Okay! x]
You: She nodded, joining in. "Well I still get asked for my ID most of the time, although heels /definitely/ help. Can you pass me a towel?" Alex could feel herself getting too comfortable, it was so warm now she was very likely to fall asleep and she couldn't tell if that would be a good thing or not. What if she missed a call from her father? What if she got the call and it wasn't what she wanted to hear?
Stranger: [back]
Stranger: "Already?" Hamish's head rose and he looked at her and then at the clock at the wall. She'd barely been 15 minutes in there. "Do you already want to go to bed?" he asked as he got up and walked over to the shelf to grab a towel.
You: "Any longer and I'll come out like a prune, besides, if I get a call then answering it it the bath doesn't sound like a good idea." She glanced to her pile of clothes but there was no sound of her phone from her back pocket yet. "Do you have a charger I can borrow? I think I brought mine but I can't remember."
Stranger: "Sure." he nodded, handing her the big towel before turning around again. He moved to brush his teeth, eyes closed so that he wouldn't see her in the mirror. Reminding her to think about something else was probably not the best idea so he just left it alone, letting her do whatever she needed to. "My charder is right by my bed, just use that."
Stranger: *charger
You: Alex wrapped the towel around herself, pulling her hair down again and reaching for the plug of the bath before drying herself off and getting dressed. "Thanks." She couldn't tell him just how grateful she was, for everything. He knew her like no one else did.
Stranger: Taking an awful lot of time to brush his teeth, he only finished when Alex was and he could safely turn around again. Yes, he'd seen her naked before but that was not a reason not to be a gentleman. "Don't sweat it." he said softly, yawning again as he moved to take the mugs. "Do you need a pyjama? Just, you know my closet, just take whatever you need."
You: "I'll be fine, this way if I need to run off then at least I am ready." She folded the towel and hung it back up, clearing the small puddle she had left on the floor. "Do you need a hand with those?"
Stranger: "Don't you worry about a thing, Lex. It's okay." he whispered, smiling at her. He was really worried but he'd probably do the same. Just lie in bed all day and night, dressed, in case something happened. "You go relax, get your mind off of things."
You: She nodded, heading for the bathroom door and crossing to his bedroom. She didn't even have the energy to peel back the covers, she just lay on the bed and reached for the worn penguin that sat between the pillows. Maybe it was that she was finally alone, or maybe it was that the bath had begun to relax her again but as she held the toy tight she noticed the tears rolling down her cheeks again. She was scared, even if she wasn't going to admit it. Up until now, it had been years since she had cried last. The last time she had been alone, the night after deciding that anything more than a friendship with someone she was incredibly close to was a bad idea. She never wanted to loose him, so pushing him away and pretending like part of their relationship had never happened seemed like a good idea. Now she felt a sob in her throat, and struggled to keep it in, squeezing the soft toy tight and hoping Hamish couldn't hear.
Stranger: Of course he heard her. Of course he knew what was going on. Hamish was sitting in the living room, the music off, curled up in his snuggly blanket. It was horrible to listen to her like this, hearing the chokes and the sobbing, the coughing and he tried to imagine her there, on his bed. It was horribly late already and he knew he'd slept a little bit but the sobbing was still audible. In a weird sleep haze, Hamish got up and walked over to the bedroom, entering without knocking. Slipping under the covers, he moved her so that she was pressed against him as he wrapped his arms around her, penguin pressed in between them. "I'm here. It's okay." he whispered, feeling utterly helpless.
You: She didn't argue, didn't even think before pressing her face against his chest, not caring if her tears dampened his pyjama top. She clung to him and the penguin like they were the last two things on earth, after a while her sobs growing slightly fainter and further apart. "Sorry," She murmured, "Sorry."
Stranger: "Hush, it's okay. It's more than okay. I'm here." he whispered over and over again, just trying to comfort her somehow. Hearing and seeing her like that was utter torture and he was close to tears as well, his heart aching. This was all he could do for her. He could be her best friend, even if that meant that he could never love her on the outside.
You: Alex listened to his voice, let it distract her from the idea of her dad lying in a hospital bed. She was too old to be acting like a stupid child, and yet it still affected her this way. Finally the tears rolled down her face silently, and she had stopped shaking once more, focusing on keeping her breathing regular. "I have no idea what I would do without you." She said aloud, only half aware that she had.
Stranger: "Crash and burn." he whispered, having intended to mean it as a joke but he couldn't laugh. Or even chuckle. His eyes was closed so he didn't have to see her so miserable but he felt the tears dampen his shirt and that was just killing him. "Try to sleep, okay?" he murmured into her ear, kissing her temple. "Come on."
You: She giggled, spurred on by his laughter and wiping her tears on her sleeve. "I'll try, but I can't promise anything Mish."
Stranger: "It's okay." he whispered, his hands starting to rub her back softly, knowing that that always made her sleepy and purr like a cat. He was exhausted and already feel himself shiftin gback into sleep which he definitely didn't want.
You: Purring gently, she curled closer to him shutting her eyes and letting herself drift off. Her grip on both Hamish and the penguin weakened, finally managing some sort of sleep in his arms.
Stranger: Finally, he felt her breathing calming down and her grip weaken. The last thing he thought about was how much he would love to kiss her right now, how her that he was there but that would be too selfish so he simply fell asleep, holding onto her.
