Is it me, or is Haley (the blonde one with long hair) the least wisest out of the bachelorettes?

1. Falls in love with boys ALL THE TIME at first glance at them (Regardless if they are evil or not, like dumb jock Alex, while actually moral people, like the Farmer, are cast aside like pigs) compared to the others

2. Maru and Penny actually are COMPETENT at their jobs as a nurse and a teacher AND as kind natural community caregivers compared to Haley. Haley seems to have a bad track record of neglecting her duties, both in the photography field, domestic caregiving, and did I mention RELATIONSHIPS WITH GOOD MEN?

3. Emily in the Heart Events is shown to actually be INTELLEGENT beneath all that crazy, since she tailors well. (I think Leah is good at her intelligence artistically as well) Is Haley good at her studies compared to the other two? (My guess is no).

4. Abigail (and Leah…to an extent) is street-smart enough not to fall for traps or evil men. Haley just hits on anyone that’s hot or rich or muscular and falls for a lot of dumb stuff. (In the six-heart event, she freakin loses the bracelet THAT WAS PASSED DOWN BY HER GREAT GRANDMOTHER!! WHAT THE HELL.)

Anyways, what are your thoughts, is Haley one of the least intelligent bachelorettes of the game?

Y'all will call someone a misogynist for hating Haley when she's literally a misogynistic caricature. Make it make sense.

I consider myself a pretty feminine woman. I like doing makeup, playing with my hair, carefully choosing outfits, the color pink, all that. You know what I don't do? Call someone ugly when first meeting that person! Because that's really fucking rude! And yet some of you act like Haley doesn't deserve to get yelled at for it. She can't show even a bare minimum of politeness when someone introduces themself to her, and stars forbid she help with basic chores without screaming at her own sister about it. That kind of behavior is what makes her a bitch. It isn't the shopping, the makeup, or the interest in fashion. It's being rude and entitled for absolutely no reason.

Haley and Abigail are both brats who never matured past middle school. Being asked to help around the household is not a threat to someone's person and yet these two act like they've been asked to lift Mount Everest. Whining about cleaning cushions and cooking? Seriously? They need to get over it.

I don't really like Haley all that much. She reminds me way too much of the people who'd bully me in school for so much as having a cracked nail. Everybody talks about how she has this great character arc, but I've gone through it and she really doesn't. She never stops being a cliche mean girl in general, she just stops being that around the farmer. She'll still bully everyone else. It just comes off as disingenuous at best and outright malicious at worst.

Lol if there is One Haley Hater left, it is me! I was neutral about her until I encountered Haley fans. They really will write a whole dissertation anytime anyone even remotely mentions they aren't into her or god forbid call her rude (she is). Like your essay won't convince me, babe. I'm not reading all of that for a fictional character!!

I like the game, but I see several things that are unsettling or make me uncomfortable. Is it because the game is from the mid-2010s and the time difference is a factor, or is it simply because the developer is Californian? For example, the jokes about the farmer being insulted or rejected? They're so repetitive; there's even a Flower Dance where they spend all their time doing that. The characters aren't very good or well-written. One is a spoiled daddy's girl who's often arrogant and treats her "sister" Emily badly, throwing shade and getting her into too much trouble without caring that they're sisters. I also don't like that they didn't give her any character development or something :(

Haley's a bitchass mean girl who cares more about keeping her bottle-blonde hair perfect than her own sister and I'm going to throw mud at her every chance I get just so she'll whine about the dirt getting under her harpy claws.
