Navigating through the Crazy Seasons of Life (#wtsdevo everydayliving)
Life is easy and a breeze when we go through the great seasons in life. We don’t complain and we love and live life to the fullest with lack of complaints. But things change when our season turns upside down and start to actually mess around with everything in us that keep us sane. When our season start to get crazy, things gradually start getting out of control and we end up becoming overwhelmed more than we had ever anticipated. This doesn’t sound really good does it? I thought so.
Luckily as Christians, life does not have to be this way for us. Christ taught us the basics when it came down to everyday living and in the rush of things in our modern world, we have (unintentionally) chosen to forget about them. Although these things were taught several thousand years ago, they are just as relevant to this day. If we keep these basics in check, we are sure to be able to get through every season of life no matter what comes to us.
Some of the things that we can add to our check list are:
1. The basics. Am I covering it? Prayer is one of the first and most important of basics. Try to reserve time to pray to God everyday and to thank Him for everything He has done for you. Bring everything in your agenda to God in your prayer and allow Him to bless it all and place Him the center of all things - from you to all things that you plan on handling. He is sure to take all that weight away from your shoulders. Reading your Bible is another thing that you should be doing. It always helps to hear from God and the best place to do that is by reading your Bible. You are sure to hear something new from Him everyday.
2. Our seasons have purpose and this is definitely something we need to be reminded of constantly. Seasons exist to help build us up and with every season we learn something new that allows us to become better Christians and better human beings. Regardless of what a season may bring us, let us be thankful for everything that comes our way.
3. Being mindful of others is also pretty crucial when it comes to navigating through the tough seasons. This is because when things go haywire for us, we end up taking too much focus on ourselves and as a result we end up neglecting others around us. The moment we become self-centered and ignorant of others, it doesn’t help us at all but makes us negative people in all ways possible. And this is not a good thing. Therefore we need to have control over our emotions and continue to allow people to be part of our lives and help us when possible.
I have personally found these to help me and I hope that these help you just as much. When we can humble ourselves and find ourselves able to keep the above points in check, we find it much easier to navigate through the hard seasons in life no matter how tough and difficult they may be.

In the spirit of Easter coming I couldn’t help but think that He was here at this time just a few thousands of years back, but because of His death He is able to be here as we can be up in Heaven with Him.
