Like A Fine Whine
I’m not young anymore
But I’m not old
I’m not the warmest
But I’m not cold
I can start my decline
Before middle age
I feel like a failure
At the end of each page
I’m a self-defeating
Under-eating
Over-achieving
Waste of space
I’m a lonely hunter
Morbid bummer
Dickless wonder
Rat in a race
Against a clock
That never stops
Pacing the sands of time
But what if it’s all in my mind?
