So, I'm a latecomer to BG3 for a number of reasons, and though I have a good game going on my PS5, because of my other games there, it keeps making me delete my earlier slaves and, well, it's just so frustrating!

HOWEVER!

I ALSO just discovered you can romance HALSIN????? How was this a thing I missed???

So, I got the game for my PC too (in hopes there's more space or at least it'll let me get through a whole game before I have to move a save or something) and this is my new guy. Meet Rowan. Half wood elf druid (brother named Hawthorn and sister named Willow - yes, it's a theme lol) who is going to (hopefully if I can do it right) romance Halsin:

My group’s Ravnica campaign has been put on hiatus for a little while due to the DM’s schedule being too swamped to prep, and so another one of our players picked up DM responsibilities and we’re starting a new Africa/African mythology themed campaign.

This is Nikya the Jade-Eye, the Half-Elf Druid (Circle of Dreams). Nikya is a wandering folk-hero and caretaker to the River Ny. She travels around the small towns further from the river’s reach and tends to their crops, people, and drinkable water. She also cares for and listens to the needs of the River Ny, ensuring that it can provide the flooding that it’s surround people rely on. 

Nikya is the most “good guy” of a character I think I’ve ever played. She’s a kind soul, very quick to trust people and distasteful of violence. 

Nikya is quite meek however, and has quite the fear of death - a personal flaw that might prove to cause problems when her party relies on her to act quickly in dangerious situations. 

Looking forward to getting to play her in the new campaign!

My character in D&D, a very petite and cute half-elf druid, who’d rather die than go on a journey not wearing a dress or skirt and is called a hippie at least once a game, is so fond of monstrous creatures it’s a passing joke. Her knee jerk reaction to anything surprising and threatening is to turn into a giant wolf spider, and she’s very bite happy in that form. This is my first D&D campaign and it took over a year before someone pointed out that druids can only take a shape of an animal or creature they have actually seen. Not even DM had objected. Which raises a question: What kind of life has this gentle little thing had between first being adored evening star of large farming family and later opening a herb shop in the capital city? What kind of places she had been to for encountering all those creatures from nightmares?
