That was the most wholesome, family-values half-time show I've ever seen.
That couple you saw getting married during Bad Bunny’s halftime show were actually married during that performance, on paper and everything. They had mailed him a simple wedding invitation months earlier, basically hoping for a signed photo or a quick note from their favorite artist, the kind of long shot parasocial ask fans make all the time and never expect to hear back from.
Instead, somebody on his team called. One thing led to another, and suddenly these two regular people who were planning a normal ceremony found out Bad Bunny wanted to fold their wedding into the show. They kept it quiet, went through the legal steps, and then walked into Levi’s Stadium knowing that in the middle of the most corporate, overproduced night in American TV, their vows would be the one thing that was not manufactured.
So when you saw them on the field in white, shaking, laughing, trying not to ugly cry as the crowd roared, that was not a stunt couple hitting their marks. That was two fans whose little act of reaching out got answered in the wildest way possible, with their love story dropped right into the center of the biggest stage on earth.
Uptated: I'm hella proud of gaga
Seeing Lady Gaga on the half-time show reminded me that I have naturally bleached eyebrows... I'm just naturally on trend...
