Halfa-siblings AU of Danny Phantom and Psychopomp “No Danny, we shouldn’t use our real names with our hero names. Danny that’s a bad idea.”
I just like the idea of the siblings exploring the Ghost Zone together. Psychopomp isn’t as well known because Danny’s very much with the Ghost Zone policy of “Shoot first, ask questions later” and he was there the first time ghosts left the portal when Jack was lecturing him, Sam, and Tucker. And again when Lunch Lady showed up.
Jazz is hesitant at first, to explore the Zone, but figures they need to know what they’re dealing with and more importantly, she needs to prove her parents wrong.
Danny still looks the same. Jazz has flaming blue hair. Her jumpsuit is lime green, like ectoplasm. None of the ghosts think that Phantom and Psychopomp are related until they realize they’re both halfas. (Headcanon: Because it takes a lot of power to make a Neverborn, ghosts who can have children only have one. Two might just fade them.)
Danny tells Sam and Tucker. Jazz tells Spike. He’s helping her redesign her outfit for when she’s powerful enough to change her appearance.
Jazz specific rogues end up being:
-Skulker (he tried to skin her baby brother alive. She’s ending him, so help her Ancients)
She’s more of a frenemy with Ghost Writer. Likewise with Kitty and Johnny after they apologize for trying to trap her in between the portal and the Zone.
Vlad is absolutely shocked that Jack managed to repeat the accident not once, but twice. Refusing to listen to Jazz trying to explain that they walked into the portal when their parents weren’t home. Vlad’s now trying to get both of them to be his kids. Jazz is at least having fun matching wits, even as every interaction she has with the man puts him higher up on her shit list.
Danny’s rogues think Jazz is mean because she never calls them the right names, even when they scream it to the heavens. (I want to know what she would call Technus in canon.)
Considering the Drs. Fenton spend a majority of the first episode attacking Jazz because they think she’s a ghost, this could get very angsty very fast with both siblings resolutely refusing to never ever tell their parents what happened.
I forgot to add, Jazz specific powers/ones she gets faster than Danny.
-She picks up duplication faster because she’s always felt she was being stretched too thin picking up the slack for their parents neglect.
-She has mind control over blob ghosts but after the whole Circus Gothica incident she stops using it because she’s terrified of what happens if that power gets stronger.
-Talking the monster down. Not a power. Just her insisting on trying to do things civilly and when that fails, they throw hands.
