I'm so happy I finally got to draw this! I've been wanting to since almost a year I'm pretty sure ✨✨ This fic lives rent-free in my head. I think that the moment where Bruce looks up and sees "a baby holding a baby" is what solidified my love for the DPxDC fandom!

Fic rec! 5K Demon Siblings AU, featuring Talia

Summary: Talia is not–cannot be–what her children need. But when she finds out her youngest is trapped in a city infested with ghost attacks, she does not hesitate to set aside her pride and her secrets so that he might be safe.

‘Safe’ is a subjective term.

Comments: This is an amazing character study of Talia. She tries to do for Danny what she couldn't for Damian, but it's just as determinatl to her second son. There's no right choice here, between her relationship with Danny, her relationship with Bruce, and trying to guide Bruce and Danny's relationship, and the result is that no one gets to have a relationship with Danny because he ups and disappears. You can really feel how trapped Talia is here, and how she understands she just can't be what either son needs/wants.

Bruce didn't trust Vlad Masters. However, when a deal from VladCo. to Wayne Enterprise leaves Bruce cornered with no reason to refuse, he's left with no choice but to find tangible evidence. There's something off about that man and hopefully Phantom can provide the answers Bruce needs to lay his suspicions to rest. Phantom has a lot of answers.

Okay, so like, I got a comment on a work once about which Lantern Corp Danny would belong to (we agreed it would likely be Blue >:3), I came upon the realization of...

What if Danny became a Lantern? Not Phantom, but Danny? So not only does Danny now have two superhero identities to juggle, but the Justice League only know about one and not the other?

Let's imagine that the JL find out about Phantom and want to meet up with him (for something, idk, it's up to you), and they know that Danny comes from Amity Park so they ask him, hey, do you think you could hook us up for a meeting with Phantom?

And Danny just blue-screens for a hot second, and then goes, without hesitation, "Yes."

It looks like Danny's going to need to master duplication. Fast.

God I'm like 89% sure I got an ask akin tot his before but I can't for the life of me find it.

With a combination of constructs and duplication, he thinks he can pull this off. Keyword think. It'll be a miracle for the League to not think something is off.

Jazz/Kor'i Mer AU please? 🥺

So I won't be able to immediately get to this fic to post it on time, but it is for the dpxdc sapphic week event.

But the premise is that Jazz works at a sanctuary for rehabilitating marine based supernatural/mythical creatures while also studying on the side the behaviors and psychology of said creatures for her thesis (imagine that her parents believe certain species, like mermaids and sirens, due to the nature in which some of them are created in, are nothing more than evil ghosts masquerading as something pretty. So her research is not only something born from natural curiosity, but to spite her parents.)

She works with Dick, who would be a selkie, and he works as a physical therapist. And Gar, who is a shifter and he helps with socialization and is a licensed ESA, funnily enough. Kinda like how rescue sanctuaries will have companion dogs for the nervous animals and what not.

Anyway, one of Jazz's jobs is to check the surrounding beach area for poachers traps, and there is where she'll meet Kor'i who was already injured from a previous poaching attempt and is none too pleased at being caught up in a different snare.

From there it's a whole lot of trust building, lore building, and budding romance. But wait, is that a tragedy on the horizon?

My biggest inspos for this story so far is the song "Mermaid" by Skott, and the book "The Mermaid, the Witch, and the Sea" by Maggie Tokuda-Hall (very good sapphic book, 10/10 recommend btw).
