Here’s my silly sleepy looking Halfing Ranger.
His name is Elzin Thornwillow! I’m gonna be playing him in an upcoming campaign I have with my friends!
Take a break and look at my halfling oc.
👍well done. you can continue now.
Séraphina Enfumenoir - A Halfling Ranger Swarmkeeper of 46, Séraphina has lived as the local beekeeper in her native valley since she was old enough to hold a bee smoker.
The valley saw much change since Séraphina was born: once a lush green, with babbling brooks, little stone bridges, and rolling hills, it became a desolate and barren ashy landscape after the Red Shadow, an ancient red dragon, passed through.
Séraphina was in her 30's then, and has desperately tried, amongst others, to re-grow something, anything. But unlike a cleansing natural fire, there was a darkness to the dragon's flame, and it seemed to have completely corrupted the land.
Our brave halfling decided to pack her bees after losing yet again another hive to the lack of flowers, and go in search of a cure, or seeds, or magic bees, or knowledge of how to fix this. Or all of the above.
Illustrations by the skilled @thewickwheat - She did such an amazing job, I'm still incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to trade with her 💜
Séraphina is my OC, do not use her and/or her art.
"Ready, Dobromir!"
The wolverine gave a sharp, guttural bark and galloped to join his halfling friend. In a smooth, practiced motion, Nikolàš dropped his backpack and leapt onto the brawny mustelid's back.
Together they made a fearsome team - Dobromir slashing and biting at their enemies while Niko peppered them with arrows or stabbed them with his dirk. Even larger humans and half-orcs swiftly learned the importance of leg armor after a run-in with these two!
Stuff that only happens in DnD
I really love playing small races. I once rolled up a halfling ranger whom our barbarian assumed was a small child. Not wanting to argue with the large, heavily muscled, over 6 foot human, I agreed and the barbarian took it upon himself to be my adopted father. Our tiefling sorcerer, finding this shit absolutely hilarious, commissioned a harness from a leatherworker in town for me to sit on the barbarian’s back.
This ruse went on for quite awhile, even managing to con a couple druid NPCs into giving us some “herbs.” When we got back to town, the DM realized that the “herbs” they had given us were actually highly valuable.
So, we ventured into the seedy black market area of town to sell them. And we previously knew that there were a sort of velociraptor fights in this area, which is really a pit of velociraptors and people bet on how long they can last in the pit. After selling our illicit goods, I immediately went and purchased one of these fighting velociraptors. Which I kept for the entirety of the campaign.
In short: my little halfling ranger traded drugs for a pet velociraptor.
Redid my NPCs for one of my D&D adventures :D
