For @halfwaytohalloweenchallenge's prompts "Eye Trauma," "True Form," and "Cosmic and Alien Horror." I really love the comet imagery from Jimmy's quote and the sheer size of true form angels and wanted to play around with both in an interpretation of Cas' true form. I used colors found in comets, nebulas, and was inspired by the color certain chemicals give off when they're burned compared to traditional fire. Jimmy's comment also sort of implies the chain goes two ways (so here, he's chained to Cas' lower eyelid), and I can't imagine it feels that great for an angel to have to shrink their form down into a tiny skin suit. The constant tugging of the chain, the reminder that their body is borrowed... it's a nightmare on both ends. Still images and close-ups under the cut:
