Welcome to the Supernatural Halfway to Halloween Challenge!!
We wanted to bring a little horror to springtime so this is a month-long horror writing challenge. Our goal is to inspire you. There are no formal rules to this challenge (except for being 18+), you can pick one prompt, or do all sixty. You can do them in order, or jump around. We’ve got a mix of genres, objects, and themes– it's up to you to make them creepy. You can write 100 words or 1,000,000 words. You can make art, or video edits, or any other kind of media you want!
Please note that this challenge is not ship specific, and all ships are welcome. You are also more than welcome to write stories that do not involve shipping!
We wanted to release the prompt list early enough to get everyone's creative juices flowing, but the AO3 collection won't be open until April!

Excerpt:
I felt ungainly on my feet as I stumbled after him out of the room, down the carpet-lined hallways with their flickering gas lights, and out of the club into the November night.
The cool air went some way toward waking me, enough that I was able to speed up my steps and keep from losing sight of my friend in the gathering fog.
When he took an abrupt left into a narrow alley, I called playfully after him, “Not so fast, Dean. There will be time enough to be reacquainted.”
I, too, stepped into the alley, and was surprised to see… no one. The fog appeared thicker here, gathering like a cloak around me and obscuring my vision. Still, it was no matter. For all that I had lost in my recent upheaval, I had gained things too: a stronger sense of smell, for one. I knew Dean was with me still. Close by.
“Dean,” I said softly. “Don’t hide from me.”
Happy Walpurgisnacht! I imagine the trio enjoying a nice hectic dance around the bonfire. Day one of @dinolich ‘s Hellaween week.
