apparently a rare deep sea octopus (haliphron atlanticus, aka the seven armed/blob octopus) got caught by shrimp fishermen in Skagerrak and it's all over the news here, but the swedish name for it is taking me out. Apparently it's Spökkrake. Now, "spök" is easy, it just means ghost which yeah, apparently it's sort of jellyfish like, but then "krake". Now, technically krake is apparently an old/rare way to say kraken (as in the giant squid), however it also has a second meaning that's actually used in modern speech. So behold:
