I love the twists in each of the companion's characterization. You've got:

Lae'zel, a fighter who acts like a monk

Shadowheart, a cleric who acts like a warlock

Astarion, a rogue who acts like a bard

Wyll, a warlock who acts like a ranger

Karlach a barbarian who acts like a paladin

Minthara, a paladin who acts like a fighter

Jaheira, a druid who acts like a ranger

Minsc, a ranger who acts like a barbarian

And then you have Gale, who just embodies every stereotype a wizard can have.

And Halisin, who is everything you immediately think of when you imagine a druid

I want vampires to grow hair. Some people HC that they dont. They should grow nails, so it only stands to reason. I stress about being one mistake away from an eternally bad haircut.

I also want Astarion to express his autonomy not by piercings or tattoos, but with a disgusting goatee and he gloats whenever his friends complain. He immediately shaves it when they stop, though.

He also keeps the local waxing salon in business. He takes a reluctant Halisin there once. The first wax strip comes off and Halisin immediately rages into bear form, tears up the place, and gets both of them banned.
