Saix Is Dead

Halloweentown was perfect for this.

It was easily one of Axel’s favorite worlds, when it came to recon or intel or a mission in the field. Creepy black cloaks did not stand out in a perpetually dark world, and the kinds of people to hide behind a costume were not questioned there. So, of all places, it was probably the best one for Saix to end up stuck on.

Axel’s route was direct, straight to the pit in the ground that had once been a tottering, twisted mansion. He ensured that he was alone, sending out the Assassins to sweep. Depending on how this went, he might not have the luxury of them much longer. Axel passed them and his boots splashed into sickly, neon green water that illuminated his eyes once it was safe to put his hood down.
