Can someone explain this to me please?
Hey science side of tumblr! When I was little I use to own a Disney’s 19″ x 25″ Aladdin (1992) glow in the dark poster. I hung it on my closets door and would stare at it at night. I don’t know how long I stared at it, but I do remember that eventually I would see the image move on its own slowly. It was the weirdest thing. I figure it was because I was really tired. But now that I’m older, even when I’m really tired... I can’t seem to hallucinate(?) the same way I did when I was little and look at glow in the dark stuff. Care to explain?
Anyone else randomly laying in bed late at night and then just being struck with the thought of like
What if there's a really big guy in a fucked up dog onesie standing completely still behind me, just watching me, waiting for me to turn around and see him.
Or creepily leaning around the crack in the curtains from outside.
Or in the hallway looking diagonally through the doorway.
And then you think.
If I turn around to look he'll see me looking and kill me. But if I don't look I'll never know.
Probably something I need medicine for but who knows.
Tonight I'm going to die, because I see death at the end of my bed and idk if he's real or a hallucination
Me holding a presentation about Professor Layton, thinking the games will never be relevant again
A new Layton game trailer drops in 2023, literally 2 weeks later
this is weird, but I have a vivid memory of a character from a tv show that I really love, saying a specific (fairly long) number at a pivotal plot point. that show triggered me very hard though because a lot of it reminds me of my own past. but I love it still.
I nerdily turned the number into my computer password as a reference, because I remember long numbers easily. And I assumed if I ever forgot it, I could look up that scene.
Fast forward to today, and I just googled that number out of curiosity, to revisit it.
That scene doesn't exist. I tried finding it in numerous ways. The number doesn't bring up anything except a hex colour code. Variations on it don't bring up anything either. The part of the show I was thinking of doesn't have him shouting out a number.
I really remember it as a memory of watching it happen.
just heard some mysterious honking outside my window
