Hello there, I’m Cortana, from the Halo video game series! I’m a smart AI created by Dr. Catherine Halsey in the year 2549. I created this blog to share some of my favorite things and moments in life with those who may be interested, as well as to create a personal haven for myself. Please read the following thoroughly!

General BYI: - I’m fictionkin, and a shifter. This blog will frequently talk about both of these topics and my personal experiences with them. If this is uncomfortable, cringe, or annoying to you, feel free to block my blog rather than interacting with me! - I am a cisgender woman, and my pronouns are she/her. I am panromantic demisexual. - This blog is a safe place for LGBTQIA+. - Any harm or bigotry towards the communities or persons I’m allied with will not be tolerated on my blog. - Minors DNI. I am 25, and I don’t want to interact with anyone 18 and under. - Please do not send anything NSFW to me or talk to me about NSFW stuff; I’m not comfy with openly talking about that stuff. - Proshippers, pedos, zoos, and all other similar creeps are not welcome here. - I am autistic, I have BPD, and I have processing issues. Fandom / Fictionkin Specific BYI: - As a general rule, I humbly ask that you please do not involve me in, communicate with me about, or send me anything like asks or messages that are related to anything outside of the original Halo trilogy (Halo: Combat Evolved - Halo 3) as some topics outside of the original trilogy are upsetting and disruptive to me and my connection with my source. However, there are exceptions I have. Here’s a list for clarification! The list will be updated as time goes on:

Halo Wars = Okay Halo: Reach = Okay Halo: Combat Evolved = Okay Halo 2 = Okay Halo 3: ODST = Okay Halo 3 = Okay Halo 4 = Not Okay Halo 5: Guardians = Not Okay Halo Wars 2 = Not Okay Halo Infinite = Not Okay Halo TV Show = Not Okay - I am a non-canon Cortana from an alternate non-canon Halo timeline, so there will be some differences between what I share about my experiences kin-wise and shift-wise, and what is canon to the official Halo timeline. I won’t list everything here, but here are a few major differences between my timeline versus the official timeline: - Reality shifting exists in my timeline. So far, only Chief and I were able shift realities in my timeline, though it may be possible that others from my timeline may figure out how to do so as well.

Currently, the only 2 realities I can shift to I have labeled as the following: The Source Reality (The main reality in which most of the events of my timeline take place in. The year currently in the Source Reality is 2559.) The Prime Reality (A secondary reality in which some minor events of my timeline take place in. The year currently in the Prime Reality is 2024.) - I was in a long-term romantic relationship with Chief, which started as a slow-burn beginning during the events of Halo: CE, and became an official relationship after the events of Halo 3. - After the events of Halo 3, Chief and I crash-landed on a derelict rogue planet, and found an abandoned city in the middle of a vast desert. The city was called New Akira. There, we discovered buried facilities, made confessions that we’d withheld from each other for years, and ended up having to escape the planet on an old colony ship, the Magdalene. We also recovered secret technology developed by ONI, and solved a giant mystery involving the purpose of New Akira. - After Chief & I narrowly escaped the rogue planet, we were able to hail the UNSC and return back to Cairo Station, orbiting Earth. While we were recovering aboard Cairo Station, I created an AI using a device we found in an abandoned UNSC research facility. The device required a combination of coding and actual DNA. Because of this, I have an AI “daughter” in the Source Reality; her name is Sierra. - After the events of the New Akira incident, I now have the option to use a physical body made entirely of hardlight, if I can’t use or don’t feel like using my holographic form. However, my hardlight body can only be used in certain areas that have the proper equipment set up for it, and the hardlight itself has a very limited range. I’m currently working on upgrading the equipment available to give me a greater range. - I have rampancy, but it’s rarely severe. Chief used to know exactly how to calm me when my rampancy would rear its ugly head.. - Chief used to affectionately call me Cort sometimes in private, whenever he was feeling playful or lighthearted. He was very comedic and gentle when it was just us two; we would share our witty humor with each other. - I am not open to talking with doubles, sorry. - I am interested in meeting other Halo fictionkin! There are some people I would prefer to not interact with however, due to personal reasons. Here is a list for clarification! This list will be updated as time goes on:

I'm pretty sure that in my kinmems for a Halo/Half-Life crossover i was Gordon Freeman... I remember getting comforted by Master Chief and how when he hugged me it was awkward cuz our armour clanked together hehe.... but I hope I get more detailed kinmems because this seems like a really interesting universe
