My first official task working for @thinkspace_art was to assist @cinta_vidal for a week up at the @moahlancaster! If you watched my stories you got to see the mural produced for the city as well as the amazing sold out show that took place at the museum (up until the end of December). #CaseForScale! This is the second year in a row I won’t be in Miami. I started to post old pics in IG stories but it got a little overwhelming as there were so many good memories to flash back to. When I decided to post one throwback pic it was even harder to chose one but I had to go with this classic by the homie @case_maclaim for @wynwoodwallsofficial! That year, 2017, I assisted Case with this wall and his masterpiece inside the @miamidolphins stadium #halopiggtheassistant! This mural was my first time really helping Case paint and the funny story was it took me three days of assisting before I realized I was helping paint a painting of my own hand #rumorhasitthathishandswerethemodelforapaintingofhands! This wall had a four year run I believe and is now permanently protected by a sick Vhils piece! In 2015 I had the pleasure of assisting @case_maclaim at the @miamidolphins stadium! If you’re watching the #SuperBowl today make sure to pay attention to all the art across the stadium/game supplied by the friends at @goldmanglobalarts! This was one of the most rewarding #halopiggtheassistant experiences I ever had! Myself, @case_maclaim, Samira, @sarah_sperling, @susy8kastles, @thelondonpolice, and @tenderj were there pretty much by ourselves and working on the first three murals inside the stadium. It was awesome to be able to go back in 2016 to see all the other works put up as well as the complete refurbishment of the #hardrockstadium! I got the sad news this week that scaffolding is in place over this Roa piece I helped him paint in October of 2015. That’s him in the bottom right for scale. We were able to crush this wall in five days for #MonumentArtNYC but it left us both mentally and physically exhausted. I hope the mural remains after #LexingtonGardens goes through its makeover, I doubt it will.
