the saddest part about hamish’s actions is that aside from the occasional manipulation of the situation, he is just taking advantage of the way that the people around tyler treat him along with tyler’s insecurities, his paranoia, anger issues and his resentment of his family. all of these problems have been there for months if not years and he is just using that to isolate tyler from everyone. honestly, i feel like that is why tyler hasn’t seen through him because he is just bringing all the issues tyler already has to the surface.
