I am VERY tired of hearing theater critics, Shakespeare fans, actors, and writers all make fun of my depression, my suicidal ideation and my moping. My father was murdered and my mother remarried within the month, and everyone around me was angry with me for still grieving my father's death two months later. I was also pretty clearly mentally ill. Has anyone ever considered that these critiques are kind of ableist? - Hamlet
If I was forced to only read Hamlet for the rest of my life I'd be okay with that
I'm Hamlet from the Shakespeare play of the same name. I know it's a longshot, but I would love to meet other people who are from Shakespeare plays. My Ophelia was murdered (I know some productions are ambiguous/differ but that's what happened in my canon), Rosencrantz and Guildenstern were women in my canon, and I had feelings for Horatio, though we were forced by the era to keep it a secret. I'm 19, so please no one under 16. Like/reblog this and I'll get back to you.
