Inktober 52 Week 6 - ‘Hammer’

Had a few ideas here. One was to do a creature based on  hammer. And an exercise I’ve done before and I’m sure other budding creature designers have done similar.

Here are my sketches and ideas.

I finalized with the one up top as it liked it’s head so much. But that might be because it reminded me of @cibex​ ‘s character. It even has leopard slug patterns! I like the idea they have various hammer based physiology and bash those appendages on prey/nuts/rocks etc.

Another idea was to do a few anthropomorphic ‘hammer’ based creatures. Hammer headed bat, worm and shark respectively!
