(Hammer speaking! Due to circumstances that were happening recently in our blog, not by everyone but yes at an alarming rate, we needed to take some extra precautions for our own safety. I personally didn’t want to get to this, but lately, we got toxic stuff around here. Not hate anon or anything like that, thankfully, but we need to make this place safe for us as well.

So, please, go check the rules as soon as you can. It’s important, and even necessary, in fact.

(An important warning)

(All right. I thought I would never find something like this, but now I have no other choice but to post a warning here.

I don't know how many of you actually know this, but in the Roleplaying community there are two rules that most of RPers already follow, and that is frowned upon to break because of obvious reasons: No Godmoding and No Metarol. For those who don't know:

- Godmoding: To manipulate the character of another person without their permission, being in acts, thoughts, feelings or whatever. Also killing that character, injuring them badly and so on, again without discussing first with the other mun.

- Metarol: Actually is a kind of Godmoding, in which a character knows something they shouldn't, whatever is because the mun does know or whatever, but the muse has no access to such information on-rol.

Of course, the definitions are quite simple, but I wanted to get to the point: That is not allowed in this blog either, even if we didn't include those rules. It's something generally frowned upon and for a good reason: Nobody likes their characters to be manipulated by another person, or that other person to have the knowledge they shouldn't without any justification on-rol. Especially if it doesn't fit with the reality of such characters at all.

So you can get an idea about why Mastertuki and I were so disgusted (at least myself) when we found out that a roleplayer we don't interact with since a long time just took our characters and made up a whole story with them to justify a power or something the like they had. Without respecting the lore of such characters, without respecting their stories and, worse, without even asking us first. We just found out because that person mentioned us in the post, in fact.

We won't tolerate that to happen again. We can't do anything actually about that, more than just one thing: What that person wrote is not canon, it was never canon and will never be canon, and shouldn't be considered as such. We are not going in any way to forbid anyone to keep roleplaying with that person, that would be an asshole movement for our side. But, if you find in the future, another made up story with our characters you aren't sure you saw in our answers or roleplays before, please ask us first if that is actually canon, and please try your best to ignore those false facts if it's not.

Now, this doesn't mean that you can't mention our characters or anything. If you want to make a reference to something that actually happened on-rol that your muse wants to comment to someone else, you can totally do! Because that is canon and is good to see it influenced your characters enough to wanting to bring it up in another conversation. If you also want to ask something about if you can write something about a past interaction that didn't happen, again ask us first. Even if we maybe won't agree with the idea, we'll gladly help to achieve something that will make happy both parts! The key is: Please ASK US FIRST. It wasn't the story itself what made us upset, even if it didn't fit at all with the background or the characters. What made me sad and angry it was we weren't asked about, we felt that our characters were used by another person without our permission and without even being loyal to them. And that hurts, because they are still our OCs, and are still our creations and characters.

Now, that person is going to be blocked. And we'll add those golden rules to the list, seeing that is actually necessary.)

(I think so! I may also be one of the few ones who actually like this one. I also updated the icons in hour pages from the blog and took a look at the rules as well. I got worried lately we’re getting plots again here, after all...)

(Indeed. But, just in case, I’m gonna remark it: Mastertuki and I are really busy people who have no time to dedicate to threads and long plots in this blog. I’m already without free slots in my RP ones. Short plots may be okay, but no threads: You may send them via ask and wait. We are slow at answering them. After all, we need to coordinate personal life, work, the forum, my other blogs in my case and taking care of a hyperactive puppy in the one of Mastertuki.)

(Yeah, and I’m making a good effort not putting some photos about him here. I love him very much, but now is the moment for the HammerKandros new model!!)

(I don’t think they would complain. Your puppy is adorable! Though you also have a personal blog for that~)

(But now, for real, people. We have rules because of something. I don’t want you thinking later that we ignore you or something. It’s just that we really CAN’T participate in threads. This is why this is an ask blog and not an RP one by itself. I mean, we still RP in the asks, but you get me. That’s something we already settled in our rules page. So, please, read them. It’s not the first time we need to make a heads up about this and I wouldn’t want to force a password to show you read them.)
