Hamskea R7
digitalcassette said: that is beautiful, are you a big fan of drop aways? (been reading up that a lot of competition archers use stationary rests)
I've been shooting with a stationary blade up until now. I had an awful time in the wind with it recently though as it's a very tiny blade (arrows constantly blew off - I was heavily canting the bow until. just before release just to keep them on). Rather than try to get, and tune in, a bigger blade I finally caved and got the Hamskea, as it's been highly recommended to me by a couple of my clubmates. Nice big launcher, and no clearance issues - which I definitely have but have never quite managed to eliminate. I have to admit that I'm slightly nervous, though - I don't really like adding more complexity to my set-up. If the drop-away doesn't suit, I can configure this rest to be a stationary launcher.

This is the one I've ordered :)
