Smuggler- Han Solo x Reader
a/n: i added some extra scenes with han and the reader, just to kind of show how their relationship grew? :)
request: could I request a han x reader where the reader is Leia’s adopted sister and she goes to find Obi Wan on Tatooine and meets Han when her, Obi Wan and Luke are looking for a ride to Alderaan (like in a new hope) but the reader is really confident and sarcastic with Han
requested by: anon
Y/N paused, lingering by the entrance to a cave. She’d searched many before, wandering the desert of Tatooine, but something about this one called to her. She knew it had to be Obi-Wan Kenobi’s home.
She stepped inside, finding a figure stooped over a chest, and a younger blonde sitting beside him. The blonde, about Y/N’s age, peered at her curiously.
“Master Kenobi?” Y/N ignored the looks from the boy, knowing the hood drawn over her eyes blocked his vision of her anyway. After a moment, the man turned around, silent. She pulled down her hood, revealing her face and hair. “Master Kenobi, we need your assistance. My sister, Princess Leia Organa, has been captured by the Empire.”
The boy spoke up, blurting out an answer and immediately blushing afterward. “We’re already planning to go rescue the princess!”
Y/N turned her gaze to him, chewing her lip. “Excellent. I will accompany you on your journey.”
Obi-Wan Kenobi, eyes showing off his amusement, said nothing, simply nodding. She turned her back to them and stepped off to another section of the home, leaving them alone. She needed time to consider her plan of attack now that she had Kenobi to help her.
…
Y/N raised her eyebrows, smirking. “You really think your ship is that good?”
“I know it is.” the man leaned back, furrowing his eyebrows in response. “Why, have you got something better?”
“Not now,” Y/N said, smiling. “But give me a few hours in that junkyard over there and I could create ten ships, all better than yours.”
“Y/N.” Obi-Wan gave her a stern warning look. “Watch your tongue,” he murmured. “We need this ship.”
“Sorry, Ben.” Y/N gave him an apologetic look, crossing her arms. “Smugglers like him get me all riled up.”
Han wrinkled his nose. “Smuggler? Watch what you say, kid.”
Y/N fingered the trigger of her blaster, staring him down. “I’d be careful what you say next, Solo.”
“Anyway.” Luke looked pointedly at both Han and Y/N. “You say you can get us there?”
…
“What’s your story, sweetheart?”
Y/N easily shoved Han’s hands off of her shoulders with enough force that he was knocked back somewhat, continuing to sort the papers in front of her.
“Name’s Y/N Organa, princess of Alderaan. You really want to mess with that?”
“Ah, so you’re a princess-” Han turned her around, smirking at her. “A damsel in distress-”
Y/N wrapped her hands around his arms easily and twisted him, pinning his arms behind his back. She leaned up and whispered into his ear.
“I could kill you in nine different ways right now, each one more painful than the rest. Are you going to shut up or what?”
Han tried not to show how flustered he was. Despite how easily he could fake it, charming people had never come easily to him. “I’ll shut my mouth. I know who not to mess with, ya know.” He paused as Y/N let him go, pushed him across the room, and returned to her work like nothing had happened. “And how come you ended up on Tatooine?”
“Work business,” Y/N said absentmindedly, studying a worn paper in front of her. “Diplomatic stuff. I wouldn’t bother to explain it to you, you couldn’t understand if you tried.”
“Enlighten me.” Han leaned on a control panel and accidentally pressed a few buttons. He brushed it off, trying to act like nothing had happened. “What does your country need from a desert boy and an old homeless man?”
“You need to learn when to shut your mouth.” Y/N frowned at him. “For your information, Ben was a powerful Jedi. I needed his assistance to get my sister back.”
Han grinned to himself. “Sister, huh? That would be the princess that’s captured right now?”
“You catch on quick.” she rolled her eyes, pushing aside the paper and moving onto the next one. “Uh-huh, that one. I need to get her back.”
Han walked over once more. “I like your spirit. Chewie and I could use someone like that around here.”
“If you’re offering me a job, or some sort of position on your weird spaceship- I don’t have the time. I’m a princess. I have things to do, unlike some people.”
Han frowned, not showing his hurt or disappointment. “Hm. Didn’t need someone like you anyway. Too much of an attitude.”
As he began to walk out, head down, he heard Y/N call out to him.
“You said you liked my spirit and needed someone like me around.”
“I changed my mind!”
...
“You’re such an idiot!” Y/N grabbed the blaster out of his hand and jumped out, shooting all of the Stormtroopers squarely in the face before shoving the gun back into his chest, grabbing her own weapon from one of the dead troopers.
“Where’d you learn to do that?” Han gaped at her for a long moment before following her lead, letting her protect him.
They stopped before turning a corner, knowing an army of Stormtroopers were on the other side. Y/N stopped him from going ahead with a gentle hand on his chest.
“You are not getting us killed,” she whispered with narrowed eyes. “Stay here and wait for my cue.”
“I don’t see why you’re in charge!”
“Because I’m the one who can keep us alive!” Y/N pushed him back against the wall and held him there as she glanced around the corner, checking how many Stormtroopers were waiting.
Han pushed out of her grip. “I don’t think that’s fair!”
“You’re the worst.” Y/N grabbed his arms once more and pinned them above his head, not letting him escape. Before he could argue, she shut her eyes and pressed her lips to his for a brief moment, making Han let out a surprised gasp.
When they separated, a flustered Han stuttered over his words. She patted his cheek.
“That’s one for the road. Now shut up and follow my lead.”
Han was too stunned to complain.
