Beautiful. There was nothing but beauty in observing a reticent woman let herself be open in front of another, to see her shut off her own demons and go after what she desired even if her insecurities always tried to get her to give up on it. It was not the first time she was watching it happen, however, it still made her chest throbs with fondness. And it definitely showed in her face, if the way Nico’s lips tilted up in a pleased smirk when their gazes locked in was any indication.

Knowing that nothing good would come from this situation, she only offered a bittersweet smile for the woman. She observed the way her lips distorted, probably already understanding that Robin had no intention of fighting her. The trust that once was softening the eyes now were nowhere to be found in the sharp gaze she was receiving. It was okay, though; Nico was accustomed to this happening.

Hatori had come over at the wrong time. So many things were scattered across the table. Things that ... weren't great. So many things. He hadn't told anyone. He'd hid again. As he always did when he had a bad episode. But. It was bad this time. Drugs, a box cutter, anything he could get his hands on. Hana didn't even say anything to the man. He just curled up in a ball. He hadn't even touched any of it, but it being there said a lot for his intentions. He just didn't want to exist right now.

He looked at everything on the table. He hadn't realized that Hana dealt with these kinds of issues, but he couldn't focus on his own thoughts about the situation. First, he needed to make sure that Hana was okay.

He kneeled down next to Hana, lightly moving her hair away from their face. He thought about getting her some water but thought it best not to leave her.

Still saying nothing, he moved his hand from her hair to her back and rubbed gently. He didn't think he had anything useful to say, so he wanted her to know that they had support even if they felt like they didn't in this moment.

[Text to Hana at 7:13 AM]: Good morning. If you’re not too busy later this morning, I was wondering if I could take you out for brunch?

It had taken him 10 minutes to construct that text message. He had just learned about the idea of brunch the other day, and he thought that Hana would like it.

Hana had accidentally stayed over at Hatori's the night before. They'd ended up falling asleep waiting for him, seeing as they'd just come off of shift, and woke up in his bed. They blinked groggily and and sat up. The bed was empty besides her. What time was it ???? How long had they slept ??? Had Hatori taken them to his bed ??

Hatori wasn't going to assume that Hana was okay sharing the bed with him while they were asleep. She had barely woken up when Hatori had moved her to his bed where she could sleep comfortably.

This was how he had ended up asleep on the couch. It wasn't the most comfortable, but it wouldn't be the first time that he had fallen asleep on the couch. Mostly from reading a book.

Even now, he was still asleep. Not quite ready to wake up.

Text message from Hana: Here, let me send it to you in a way that you can just save it to your phone. (Here Hana sends a contact attachment with everything from his address, to his work number, to his email. ) There! ❤️

Hatori stares at the contact unsure of what to do with it. Was he supposed to tap on it? He tried that, but it took him to a different screen, and he wasn't sure what he was looking at and just exited out.

Yeah, he had no idea what to do with this, so he opened up the messages app instead.

Text message to Hana: Thank you. I will pick you up on Thursday at 3.
