Sneaking your exiled paladin sponsor back to the lines of safety, to only have a ghoul emerge and start poking jabs at him as pay back. Danse also having to find civilian clothing that fits his brawny frame became a side quest while heading back to a settlement. During this he had time to reflect on his behavior towards settlers, ghouls and people trying to survive on their own. He may be hesitant on starting on the right foot now but it's a start. . .
