I’m Making a Video Game!
So, as I've been saying for the past couple years, I've been busy with that "BIG PROJECT" I haven't shut up about. Well, while I don't want to reveal any titles or visuals or anything just yet for it, I can gladly reveal that this "BIG PROJECT" is a hand-drawn/hand-animated, 2D sidescrolling platformer game, completely thought up by yours truly. It's an idea for a game I got back in 2010 that I've never revealed publicly. In 2017 I finally started to put together a very small team, and the concept began to become a reality. All the artwork, in-game and promotional, is done by me. This is why casual art uploads to sites like this and commissions have not been a thing I can do for a while now. Almost all my free time must be dedicated to working on the game. Between all the in-game character animation for the lead role, enemies, bosses, and the like, are done by me, all stage graphics and backgrounds are done by me, and all menu, "loading screen", and all around promotional character art is done by me, I'm doing the amount of work that is normally done by a studio, so I must do as much as I can, as often as I can. I hope everyone ends up loving this game as much as I do, and watch out for a reveal trailer some time this year! If you'd like to follow updates on the project, get a link to the project's social media pages when they go up, or just follow good old Brendan Corris' mediocre dumbness I say, give me a follow over on Twitter! twitter.com/brendan_corris
