the amount of things we just straight up can’t hold/use because they’re too fucking big for our hypoplastic hands

especially the one time when our art teacher made the class use this giant stapler thing to put canvases together (was that cheaper than buying different sized canvases? maybe wdk) and she kept seeming annoyed when we asked her for help. like sorry we literally can’t use the tool you’re making us use wg 🙄

You (general you, not you anon) cannot expect everyone to be capable of the same tools. Its just not possible. Even something as simple as finger size or lefthandedness can render a tool impossible or difficult to use.

i found a reddit post, someone posting a photo of their hand with syndactyl, two of the fingers fused together on each hand. the top comments were asking about if surgery was possible, and when op said it wouldn't be worth the risk of damage at this point in time, asked why they didn't get it done sooner, and when told the reason, kept giving suggestions and encouragement despite them not seeming to care, etc etc etc. the majority of the comments were sexualizing their body, making sex jokes abt the condition and theoretical fingering. idk if op cares or not since they DID make the choice to post it to such a place as reddit to begin with, but it still really upset me to see. idk if that's selfish of me but. yeahh
