Do you know any method for beginners? All my life I have played classical guitar and I would like to know if you can advise me on a method with simple pieces and exercises for independence of the hands.
Hi, sorry this is a bit late! I haven't used method books for piano before, so I can't really give recommendations based on my personal experience, but linked below are some recommendations from some piano teachers I follow on youtube. Hopefully you'll find something that fits your needs! Hand independence does take some time to develop, but slow practice and understanding how the different rhythms of the left and right hand fit into each other to make a single sequence helps me a lot in figuring out how long I should hold notes in one hand and when to release notes in the other hand :) Thanks for the ask, and if you have any more questions, please feel free to ask and I'll do my best to help!
